A detached four-facade single-family house in Grand-Manil, designed in 2025 as a contemporary and well-balanced family home in the province of Namur, Wallonia. The project brings together a complete residential programme, three bedrooms, a study, two bathrooms and an integrated garage, within a clear and carefully proportioned volume that fits naturally into the suburban built fabric of the area.
The siting of the house makes the most of the plot to optimise natural light throughout the living spaces and to establish a strong connection with the garden. All four elevations are given equal architectural attention, ensuring a coherent and consistent presence that contributes positively to the local streetscape.
The design, carried out by architecture firm STARC, is guided by a commitment to volumetric simplicity and spatial clarity, with a functional layout that clearly separates the sleeping areas and study from the shared living spaces. The project reflects a considered approach to new residential construction in Wallonia, balancing everyday comfort with long-term quality and durability.
