In Goutroux, in the province of Hainaut in Wallonia, STARC carried out the architectural commission for the construction of a four-facade detached house, delivered through a turnkey arrangement. The project sits within the residential fabric typical of this municipality in the Charleroi area, with a siting conceived to optimise orientation and the relationship with the surrounding plot.
The chosen massing aims for a clear and balanced reading of the building, in keeping with the local urban context. The architectural design focuses on a functional organisation of the interior spaces, placing the living areas on the ground floor and the sleeping quarters on the upper level, following a logic of everyday comfort and practicality.
The turnkey formula allowed the clients to be guided from design through to handover, ensuring consistency between the architectural project and its execution. This comprehensive approach reflects the working method adopted by this architecture firm for new residential construction projects across Wallonia.
